Abstract: For the Purpose of GIS Bus conductor temperature monitoring and overheating fault prevention, a GIS conductor temperature inspection scheme using FBG temperature measuring network based on FBG temperature sensing and wavelength imaging demodulation technology was introduced. The GIS conductor temperature measurement model is established through the field temperature rise test and the GIS conductor temperature thermal failure criterion is established according to the standards. A portable GIS Bus bar temperature inspection device which contains hardware system and software system has been developed. The application showed that this equipment can be used for GIS busbar inspection, thereby reduce the cost of high precision temperature monitoring GIS equipment, discover GIS busbar overheating fault in time and guarantee the GIS equipment safe and stable operation.
