Abstract: Traditional (cone) roving frame has many shortcomings, such as complicate driving mechanism, big front-back difference in the tension and elongation of the roving, high machine failure rate, low production efficiency, heavy maintenance tasks and high labor intensity. To overcome these shortcomings, the article introduces some measures for modifying traditional (cone) roving frame and analyzes the results achieved after modification.
