Abstract: Currently a systematical basic theory for coal and gas co-extraction in China has not been formed. A coal and gas co-extraction system was developed in this study based on three stages including economic evaluation, effect of extraction, and multi-level index system. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was used to conduct the evaluation of coal and gas co-extraction. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process( FAHP) and Analytic Hierarchy Process( AHP)were weighted and combined, also, the experts’ subjective experience and the objective reflection indicator of target zone were combined, thus, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established. A comprehensive assessment of coal and gas co-extraction is conducted in Shaqu Coal Mine. The cooperation level between coal mining and gas extraction system was quantified by using coordination function based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of each part of the extraction system. The evaluation results show that the subsystem of coal mining and gas extraction in 24207 working face at Shaqu Coal Mine is orderly coordinated;the technology of coal and gas co-extraction in Shaqu Coal Mine is reasonably practicable.
