Abstract: According to the Permian Coal Basin stratigraphy,coal accumulation rule,capping coal characteristics and coal accumulation of the structural transformation of the coal-bearing strata on the basis of fundamental understanding,nine typical target areas are selected as the research objects in Fujian Province respectively from under the sliding cover body,under the nappe,under the volcanic rock and red layer to find the coal target area. The results show that the deep Permian coal- bearing area of Fujian Province coal prospects looks good,with a prediction of about 1.15808 billion tons of coal reserves. This study helps relieve the worry of coal shortage and looking for coal in depth is of great significance in Fujian Province.
