Abstract: The mesoscopic numerical models corresponding to different fiber dosages were developed with distinctive consideration of the aggregates,cement mortar,interfacial transition zone and steel fibers,and then the complete failure processes including the initiation,development of micro-cracks and final penetration of SFRC specimens with different fiber dosages were simulated by SHPB test. The simulation results showed that the failure of SFRC specimens was delayed,and their ductility and toughness also could be increased due to the addition of the steel fibers.
