Abstract: Aiming at the defects of transfer the multiple asynchronous serial data by using cable, the paper introduces a kind of optical transmission system for multiple asynchronous serial data format based on gigabit ethernet. It mainly includes the structure and composition of the system, the method of obtaining terminal signal, the working principle of the data processing unit and the process of electrical signal to light signal conversion, in addition, it introduces the main chips used in each part of the system.
