Abstract: The immigration of"braving the journey to the Northeast China"has a long history,it reached peak during the period of the republic of China.On the basis of the study on Shandong immigrants braving the journey to the Northeast China since the 20 thcentury,the article investigates return migration which attracting less attention in the academic circles.The return phenomenon mainly appeared after the September 18 thincident and the reform and opening up.Whether in the population ingoing ground or in the area of outflow migration,it has had a significant impact on society,economy,etc.The study found that the main influence factors include different economic level,difference of the objective environment,traditional thoughts of hate to leave a place where one has lived long.In view of this,the task of our country at present stage is resettling immigrant properly,adjusting the human resource configuration scientificly,reducing the blind population flow.
