Abstract: In order to reduce the alloy consumption of low-alloy steel Q345 B,the process of increasing C content and reducing Mn content was implemented by No.3Steelmaking& Rolling Works of MaSteel.The results showed that this process was feasible and ensured the mechanical properties of steel,and the mass fraction of Mn could reduce0.06 % when C increased 0.01 %.
