Abstract: To meet the requirements of automation major students to learn the principles and design of numerical control technology, a comprehensive experimental device was developed based on dual path CNC FANUC-0i-TD system. The overall design of the experimental device, CNC system hardware configuration, FSSB servo bus set and PMC structured programming are given in this article. A platform is provided by this device for students to learn electrical control design and commissioning of CNC equipment through a number of training or experiments, including CNC system connection, servo drive set up and commissioning, PMC connection and programming, CNC interpolation principle,CNC macro programming, CNC machining ISO code programming etc.
