Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of ultrasonic images in uterine leiomyoma and to analyze the characteristic of misdiagnosed uterine leiomymoa and misdiagnose causes.Methods:43/759 cases diagnosed as uterine leiomyoma were compared in their pathologic results after operation and their ultrasonic images retrospectively .Results:The diagnostic accuracy of uterine leiomyoma was 94.3%.The common diseases misdiagnosed as uterine leiomyoma were uterine adenoma and ovarian tumor.The uncommon diseases were uterine sarcoma; rudimental uterine.Conclusion:Uterine leiomyoma has its own typical ultrasonic characters.Sometimes it will be diagnosed as other diseases for which have the similar images.It is necessary to observe ultrasonic images carefully and collect the patients history.
