Abstract: Objectives:To investigate the frequency and the clinical characteristics of late onset of hypogon-adism in the different body mass index of infertile males.Methods:292 male infertility patients were randomly se-lected and divided according to the different BMI:normal body mass index (BMI)group of 84 cases,overweight group of 117 cases and obese group of 91 patients.PADAMvasomotor symptoms were investigated with the Schedule for Partial Androgen Deficiency of the Aging Male.Results:In different body mass index group of PADAMvasomo-tor symptoms score,the scores of obese group were higher than the normal weight group,with statistically difference (P <0.05);the score of obese group was also higher than that of overweight group,with statistically significant difference (P <0.05);the normal group and the overweight group had no statistically significant difference (P >0.05).Vasomotor symptoms and body mass index were positively correlated (R =0.156,P <0.156).Conclu-sion:Body mass index has obvious effect on the frequency and clinical characteristics LOH of male infertility pa-tients.To improve the treatment of LOH,lose weight is very important for male infertility patients.
