Abstract: 刚参加工作时,听说一位老教师能背诵《新华字典》,感觉不可思议,敬意油然而生。只是,在偏僻的农村小学里,没有见到这位具有神奇记忆力的老前辈因之有什么值得称道的工作业绩,多多少少感觉有些遗憾。而现实中有一种现象也很普遍,三四岁的幼儿能背诵很多唐宋诗词,可一旦进了小学,背诵的能力就大大下降了。这引发了我的思考:怎样的背诵才是有意义有价值的,才是可持续性发展的呢?身为一名语文教师,我们不得不更认真地探求:有益于孩子成长与发展的背诵要不要进行精心规划?
