Abstract: There has been a lot of domestic academic study of inter-party Consultative democracy in China, and a lot of academic achievements have been attained, which mainly included:the formation and development of inter-party consultative democracy;the subject and object of inter-party consultative democracy;the carrier and pattern of inter-party consultative democracy; the characteristics of the inter-party consultative democracy; the operation of the inter-party consultative democracy mechanism and optimized path and so on.However, there are still some problems in researching inter-party democracy at present, for example, the scope of research is not comprehensive or in-depth enough, the research methods are too simple, and the combination of theory and prac-tice is insufficient, which will be studied more extensively and deeply.
