A Measuring System for the Isobaric Heat Capacity of Liquid Refrigerants

Abstract: Based on the working principle of heat conducted calorimeter,a measuring system for the isobaric heat capacity of liquid refrigerants at different temperatures and pressures was established,with inert gases introduced for the pressure balance.Testing experiments were carried out on the heat capacity of benzene and R22 at temperatures from 305 K to 340 K.A comparison between the experimental data and literature data showed a maximum deviation within 2.08% and 2.31%respectively,which confirmed the high accuracy of the measurement.The system proposed in this study was simply structured and was capable of the measurement for mixed refrigerants.
