The Influence of Combustor Outlet Temperature Profile on a Vane Endwall

Abstract: In order to reduce the pollutant emissions,the combustor switches to premixed combustion which changes the temperature profile at the turbine inlet.This will have a great effect on the cooling of first stage vanes.In this work,three typical temperature profiles were abstracted based on real engine conditions to investigate the different influences on endwall cooling.The results indicated that the change in temperature profile mainly affected the endwall in the near pressure side region and suction side in the up and bottom trianglar region.
