Abstract: This article chooses some American community libraries as research object and introduces the service content of American community libraries,then classify the service contents by troditional service,new types of service and extended service, analyzes and summarizes them one by one. At last,combining with the domestic community libraries development that gets enligtment from service concept,resource construction,self propaganda and activity forms.
