Research and Simulation of Doubly-fed Wind Turbine Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation

Abstract: Compared with conventional sinusoidal pulse width modulation( SPWM),SVPWM can reduce the inverter output voltage harmonic,raise the utilization ratio of voltage and is easier to digital implementation. Traditional SVPWM method is based on the equivalence principle to obtain the proper duration,of which the calculate is tedious and the engineering application is difficult. In order to simplify the control principle,optimal the control effect,the article puts forward a method of using the relationship between switch vector and the voltage in the complex plane to control the shut off,and builds the SVPWM simulation model which can modulate grid doubly-fed wind turbine,and then simulation in Matlab / Simulink platform. The simulation results confirm the validity of the algorithm.
