Abstract: Objective To understand the incidence and epidemic characteristics of patients with thyroid disease in Jiangyin city,and provide a scientific basis for prevention and control measures for thyroid disease prevention countermeasure for the next step. Methods Network reported patients with thyroid diseases were analyzed of Jiangyin city in 2012. Results Through statistical analyzed 41-70 years old patient accounted for 73. 04%of the onset of people,female more than male( χ2= 126. 23,P < 0. 001),thyroid nodule patients accounted for 42. 41%,incidence has regional statistics( χ2 = 408. 63,P < 0. 001),the incidence were higher in Xiagang town( χ2= 132. 41,P < 0. 001) and Shengang town( χ2= 318. 25,P < 0. 001) in the whole city. Conclusions Thyroid disease patients are given priority to middle-aged and old women,and to thyroid nodules and nodular enlargement,there are regional differences.
