Abstract: The advanced detecting approach of distorted currents based ondq coordinate transform was proposed in the article. Themethodby mathematical operation accurately calculates the fundamental positive-sequence voltage phase angle and the fundamental positive-sequence active current frequency to produce sine-cosine information makes use of dq coordinate transformation and forms a double-closed loop system, makes up the shortage of phase-locked loop and accurately detects the distorted currents. Simulation results prove that this improved method can be valid and feasible and improve the accuracy of the distorted current detection.
