Abstract: The shell of wild apricot were used as the raw material to extract total flavonoids by flash-extraction,based on single factor experiments, extraction condition was optimized by response surface methodology. The results showed that the optimum conditions of extraction of the total flavonoids from shell of wild apricot were as follows : 62 % ethanol concentration, 4min extraction time, 13 ∶ 1 liquid / material ratio and 53 ℃ extraction temperature. Under this condition, the maximal content of total flavonoids was up to 12.93mg/g. Results of antioxidation showed that the total flavonoids from shell of wild apricot had a good ability to scavenge hydroxyl radicals,DPPH,superoxide anion,it had good antioxidant activity.
