Abstract: According to the problems of poor hole formed and short distance of gas drainage affected by hole collapse easily broken and stuck pipe incidents in soft coal seam of Jincheng Mining Area,in combination with comb-like directional drilling technology and soft coal seam gas control features,three kinds of technologies mode were established,including the bottom floor comb-like directional drilling for replacement floor drainage lane,comb-like directional drilling for driving coal lane of the adjacent face,the coal seam hole water discharge drainage-roof comb-like directional drilling for gas drainage. The above three technologies were applied respectively to No. 1307 Face of Zhaozhuang Mine,No.4226 Colliery Lane,No.53131 Face of Chengzhuang Mine.The results showed that the above gas drainage technologies mode could make a single branch hole produce coal more than one ton,cumulative amount of pure gas extraction was 0. 101 4 million m3.The problems of cover neighboring coal lane driving by passing the broken seam area and difficult gas drainage affected by hole residual water in V shaped coal seam were solved.
