Abstract: Objective:To study the diagnosis of intravenous anesthesia and local anesthesia transrectal prostate biopsy in prostate cancer.Methods:150 patients with prostate cancer were selected from May 2009 to May 2013.They were divided into two groups according to anesthesia methods,33 cases with intravenous anaesthesia as A groups;while 34 cases with local anesthesia as B group,then we compared the disease detection rate in two groups.Results:The patients’ disease detection rate of the two groups both were 100%.Patients in A groups without pain,the average value of pain was 0;In the B group,there were 34 patients with painless sensation,23 cases with slight pain,while 10 cases with obviously pain,even 8 cases with severe pain,the average pain in the B group was(4.2±1.8),and the difference was statistically significant between two groups(P<0.05).4 cases of complications in A group,while a total of 18 patients with complications in the B group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The disease detection rate in two kinds of anesthesia methods has no difference,but intravenous anesthesia patients had less pain.
