Abstract: Heat transfer of the supercritical hydrocarbon fuels RP-3 in 2mm vertical tube has been experimentally investigated.The influences of the thermal properties,the buoyancy and the thermal acceleration on heat transfer were analyzed.A new correlation was proposed to predict the heat transfer.The results show that the buoyancy and the thermal acceleration effects can be neglected at a Reynolds number of 2500.At Reynolds number of 2500,the buoyancy force decreases the heat transfer of upward flow.
