Abstract: Characteristics of circulatory flash evaporation is very different from that of static flash evaporation due to horizontal velocity.A circulatory flash evaporation system was built to study sensible heat conversion rate variation of pure water under different flow rate of 400,600,800,1000,1200 L·h-1,flash chamber pressure of 7.4,12.3,19.9,31.2 kPa and water film height of 140 to 250 mm.Results showed that variation of sensible heat conversion rate versus inlet superheat existed a minimum value.Sensible heat conversion rate decreased with increasing water film height,but increased with increasing flow rate and flash chamber pressure.
