Abstract: This paper mainly talks about using waste heat with low temperature to generate electricity by the way of Rankine cycle.Some common working fluid such as R22,R123,R134 a,R12and CO2 are used.By the way of simulating calculation,the results show that CO2 has good thermal efficiency in theoretical.Then,non-isentropic compression and expansion,inside heat exchanger(counter flow heat exchanger) and superheat are considered.The results show the thermal efficiency of CO2 based Rankine cycle on the working conditioning we set.The results are closer to the actual condition after considering non-isentropic compression and expansion,inside heat exchanger and superheat.
