Emission characteristics of PM2.5 from sintering machine

Abstract: Through ELPI( electrical low-pressure impactor) based dilution sampling system,the emission characteristics of PM2. 5was studied experimentally at sintering machine head,sintering machine tail,burden and whole grain. Results showed the characteristics of PM2. 5particle size distribution and mass concentration distribution discharged from test points. The desulfurization process should be optimized,for the mass concentration of PM2. 5was reduced after desulfurization,but the concentration of the grain number increased. The micro-morphology of PM2. 5monomer was divided to four categories: spherical particles,ultrafine particles,soot particles and irregular aggregates. Chemical composition analysis indicated that PM2. 5was largely composed of sulfate,organic carbon,elementary carbon,and Fe,with mass fraction of 2. 65% ~ 10. 76%,6. 15% ~ 12. 6%,3. 05% ~10. 05% and 4. 14% ~ 26. 78%,respectively.
