Abstract: Based on the background of foundation excavation engineering of Beijing Yao-scientist detection lab,in order to solve the large soil foundation excavation deformation problem under the action of Beijing once-in-a-century heavy rainfall, this paper had been carried on system research with methods of numerical simulation and field measurement. With the simulation software FLAC3 D,it is analyzed the evolution law of the horizontal displacement of foundation excavation under the condition of no support and designed support. The basic data of the deformation of foundation excavation after supporting is also recorded by means of field monitoring. The paper analyzes the reason of large displacement happened in foundation excavation under the condition of heavy rainfall. The control measures to the stability of deep foundation excavation are carried out under this special condition and the proper reinforcement means are determined.
