Abstract: The cable frame and cable bridge are located on the reactor head, above the CRDM seismic ring, with the main function of directing all the power cables and measurement cables to the appointed civil engineering connection. Element BEAM188 of ANSYS Software was used to simulate the complex structure. The modal superposition method(ANTYPE, TRANS) base on transient analysis function of ANSYS was adopted to conduct the seismic nonlinear time-history calculation in view of the dead weight effects. Then the 6 load components in element coordinates were obtained, including axial force Fx, shear forces Fy and Fz, torsion moment Mx, bending moments My and Mz. Based on the calculated load components the stress results of each element were computed, which were used for stress verification. The verification shows that the stress intensities of the seismic ring, seismic pull rod, lower steel, cable frame and cable bridge meet the seismic requirement.
