Abstract: It?is?an?inevitable?trend?and?immanent?demand?of?higher?education?reform?and?development?in?China?to?promote?organic?connection?between?application-oriented?undergraduate?education?and?higher?vocational?education.?Theories?of?Occupational?Spectrum,?Lifelong?Education,?Popularization?of?Higher?Education,?Educational?Ecology?and?ISCED(2011)?have?all?laid?solid?foundation?for?the?connection?from?the?perspectives?of?social?talent?structure,?employment?and?entering?higher?education,?higher?education’s?scientific?development,?system?construction?of?vocational?education.?With?the?support?of?the?above?theories?and?related?viewpoints,?higher?vocational?colleges?should?stick?to?higher?vocational?education?by?cultivating?high-skilled?talents,?application-oriented?undergraduate?universities?run?higher?undergraduate?education?well?by?transforming?to?applied?technology?ones,?both?of?which?work?together?to?offer?coherent?educational?support?to?industry?upgrading?and?development?and?man’s?development?in?an?all-round?way.
