Abstract: The Liankeng molybdenum-copper porphyry deposit lies at southwest Shuikou town of Yanling County in Hunan.Granodiorite porphyry is located to the middla-east of the deposit and there are skarn-type Mo-Cu (W)deposit and quartz-vein type W-Mo deposits related to it.Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age for grano-diorite porphyry is (162.9 ±1.0)Ma(MSWD=0.024,n=18),which suggests an early Yanshanian emplace-ment.The insitu Hf isotope analysis reveals 176Lu/177Hf ratios from 0.001 217 to 0.003 544,and εHf(t)from-1 1.8 to-5.2 (peak value around-8.4),and the two stage Hf model ages(TDM2 )ranging from 1 538 Ma to 1 953 Ma (peak value around 1 760 Ma).Granodiorite porphyry in Liankeng may have the same diagenesis and mineralization background, with the mid-Jurassic porphyry-skarn-vein Cu polymetallic deposit and related to granites of Qin-Hang (Qinzhou bay to Hangzhou bay)metallogenic belt.To strengthen its relationship with re-gional metallogenic research on the latter is of great significance for further prospecting in the former area.
