Abstract: T o meet different railway department market requirements,based on sufficient investigation and research of domestic and foreign rail section contour detection technology,the rail section contour dynamic detection device according to optical imaging principle was manufactured,and the static detection device development according to laser triangulation principle was studied. T he dynamic detection device is used for quick search of rail section contour diseases and the static device is used for intelligent and high precision rail contour detection,especially in turnout zone,which could be conductive to the railway department for the fine inspection and repair of rails.
