School Education and Features of the Imperial Examination of Guangxi Qingyuan Province in Ming Dynasty

Abstract: According to Annals of Ming Unification, Tu Guan Di Bu, Compilation of Enrol ment in Imperial Examination in Ming Dynasty, and Huang Zuo’s Guangxi Annals and other documents, this paper discusses the situation and features of minority schooling and the imperial examinations in Qingyuan Province of Ming Dynasty. The number of Jinshi and Juren, born in Yishan County, accounts for the first in the entire province. Zhuang Juren and Jinshi with the surname of Wei are more than Miao, Yao and Dong. This is the feature of the imperial examination in Guangxi Qingyuan Province.
