Current treatment of acquired pneumonia and the initial treatment failure related factors by logistic regression analysis

Abstract: Objective To study the status of acquired pneumonia initial antibiotic therapy,and to analyze the factors of initial treatment failure by logistic regression analysis. Methods 1012 cases of CAP patients were retrospectively analyzed clinical data from January 2011 to December2013. According to the results of the initial antibiotic therapy,patients were divided into effective group and ineffective,to analyze treatment groups,using logistic regression analysis of the impact of treatment failure. Results There was no statistically significant difference between 2 groups of patients with combined therapy and single therapy. Hypoproteinemia,hyponatremia,Pa O2≤8 k Pa,Gram-negative bacterial infections as the initial treatment was effective factors( P < 0. 05),had statistically significant. Conclusion There are a lot of initial treatment failure factors for CAP patients. Initial treatment failure will have serious impact on the prognosis of patients,can be used to increase the nutritional support treatment,complications treatment and other ways to improve the success rate of the initial treatment of patients with CAP.
