Abstract: Balance weight retaining wall occupies a large proportion in road construction,but as the wall is high,it will have some imperfections,just as a large section of masonry area,a large quantity of masonry and slowing down the construction-progression,so it has important engineering significance to optimize its design.In order to solve the above problems,this paper proposes a method of reinforced con-crete-and-masonry retaining wall,gives the calculation model and the construction measures,using the retaining wall design of Lizheng soil calculation to demonstrate the feasibility of our program.Combined with the real slope engineering examples,it’s indicate that the new design has achieved good results in economic and environmental benefits.So the combination of balance weight retaining wall design method will have a broad market prospect in geotechnical engineering and provide solving ways for the similar en-gineering as well.
