Rigorous Relative Orientation of Low-altitude Stereo Images

Issue:6 Journal:Remote Sensing Information Keyword:aerial photogrammetry; low-altitude stereo images; continuous relative orientation; two steps method; direct solution; Abstract:To improve the accuracy and efficiency of relative orientation for low-altitude stereo images,firstly,the initial value is obtained in direct solution,then the value is refined by iterative solution in the error equation of the relative orientation for low-altitude stereo images.Experimental results show that the rigorous solution of relative orientation can improve the precision of relative orientation compared with the traditional relative orientation and direct solution,and maybe practical in low-altitude photogrammetry,such as UAV photogrammetry etc.%
