Abstract: In this paper,the transverse ground surface settlement of DIK42 +660 cross-section of land section of Shiziyang tunnel induced by shield boring is calculated by means of Peck formula. The ground is numerically simulated by means of ANSYS finite element model,and the transverse ground surface settlement values are obtained from the numerical simulation results. The transverse ground surface settlement values obtained by means of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation respectively are estimated by means of comparing them with the measured values. The paper can provide reference for the prediction of ground surface settlement of shield-bored tunnel of similar projects in the future.
