Abstract: Along with the further development of reform and opening up,various kinds of science and information technology is widely applied to all walks of life.The information age today,it is a new technology,new knowledge and new theories of competition,only take the lead in any field to master the new information,to improve competitiveness in the fierce market competition environment.Sports information field in order to better development,also need to learn new sports theoretical methods and technical means. Enlargement in sports information added in the video,but spread communication media,such as the CD,the traditional means of information dissemination have been unable to adapt to the development of modern sports,therefore,into the multimedia technology in the field of sports information,will better promote the development of sports information field.This paper mainly study multimedia technology in the field of sports information of related problems were discussed.
