Abstract: Objective: To look into clinical efficacy and medication safety of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) combing amoxicillin cavulanic potassium in treating infantile diarrhea,and to look for therapeutic method for improving the patient’s symptoms as soon as possible. Methods: Eighty children with diarrhea admitted from January 2012 to January 2013 admitted by the outpatient service of this hospital were selected as research subject,and they were divided into the controlled group and the observation group according to the different methods of treatment,patients in the controlled group were subject to amoxicillin cavulanic potassium treatment,and patients in the observation group were subject TCM treatment on the basis of that applied on patients in the controlled group,and efficacies,symptom improvements and adverse reactions of patients in two groups were compared. Results: The compassion in total effective rate comparison,diarrhea,vomiting,urinary,improvement time,treatment course and the length of hospital stay( P< 0. 01) of patients in two groups were compared. The difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine combining amoxicillin cavulanic potassium treatment of infantile diarrhea delivers significant efficacies,and it can quickly improve clinical symptoms,is safe without side effects and worthy of clinical promotion and practices.
