Observation of the curative effect of fasudil hydrochloride on cerebral hemorrhage

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical curative effect of Rho kinase inhibitors fasudil on cerebral hemor‐rhage.Methods From January 2011 to March 2013 ,96 patients with cerebral hemorrhage underwent conservative treatment were randomly assigned into two groups. In addition to the conventional treatment ,fasudil hydrochloride injection was used within 14 days by intravenous infusion in treatment group.The rate of cerebral edema and National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) and Barthel index (BI) were compared between 2 groups.Results After treatment ,the rates of cerebral edema and NIHSS score were significantly lower , and BI score was remarkably higher compared with that of the control group.Conclusion The study shows that fasudil is remarkably effective for cerebral hemorrhage by reducing brain edema and promoting neural functional recovery.
