Abstract: The problems existing in the process of fourth grade university professional course were analyzed. A series of suggestions for the teaching reform were proposed of optimizing the teaching content, reform teaching methods and assessment methods. The aim was to stimulate students' interest in learning, alleviate student schoolwork burden, and improve teaching quality. For example, the content of the course was divided into lectures and discussions. Discussion and inquiry teaching method was introduced in the course of classroom teaching and the evaluation methods were reformed.
