Influence of Shunaoxin Dropping Pill on Function of Vascular Endothelium of Patients with Posterior Circulation Ischemic Vertigo

Abstract: Objective: To study the efficacy of Shunaoxin dropping pill combined conventional medical treatment of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo,and its influence on cerebral blood flow and endothelial function. Methods: We selected138 patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo and divided them into experimental group( conventional medical treatment combined with Shunaoxin dropping pill for 4 weeks) and control group( conventional medical treatment for 4weeks) randomly. In the day into the group and 14 and 28 days,patients were measured and evaluated DARS,DHI- S and Barthel index( BI). We also tested ET- 1,CGRP,TM and v WF for the patients. We checked up patients( in the day and into the group 28 days) via carotid artery colour to exceed inspection and calculated the cerebral blood flow. Results: After treatment,there was significant difference in the DARS,DHI- S,Barthel index( BI),cerebral blood flow and ET- 1 / CGRP of experimental group and those were better than control group’s with statistical meanings( P < 0. 05).There was no significant difference in ET- 1,CGRP,TM and v WF with statistical meanings( P > 0. 05). Conclusion:Shunaoxin dropping pill combined with can improve patients with vertigo symptoms and increase the cerebral blood flow.The mechanism of action and the ratio of ET- 1 / CGRP are related with vasomotion functional rehabilitation.
