Abstract: Through monitoring the quality of water environment of reservoir area and tunnel in the guangzhou pumped storage power station to assess the water qualitystatus,rich nutrition level and the corrosion to concrete and seepage of hydraulic structure. In 2012,march and september 54 samples were detected according to the national or industry standard,and the pollutant content analysis. The results showed that the water quality is good,each measuring point of the measured items are in line with the"surface water environment quality standard"( GB3838-2002) class III water standards; According to the natural water chemistry characteristics assessment are low salinity reservoir; The physicochemical index evaluation is in the state of nutrition; reservoir water with weak ~ corrosion ofhydraulic construction concrete; seepage of p H value,total alkalinity,carbonate content than the reservoir water content is high,that the construction branch tunnel and other powerhouse dam building by a certain degree of erosion. Evaluation and monitoring provides the basis for the protection of water resources and further utilizat of water resources,and a monitoring scheme of annual.
