Abstract: Discrete variable frequency soft starting for three-phase asynchronous motors can restrain bit starting current,and ensure too enough starting torque.It can be wel applied for devices with high load. Firstly,choose the discrete variable frequency with the symmetrical positive-sequence combination of phase angle.But there is no positive-sequence combination of phase angle in some discrete variable frequency.In this paper take the 2 discrete frequency for exemple,determine the optical combination of phase angle with the discrete variable frequency by three phase symmetry component method.Based on the theory,simulation of different combinations of phase angle is established by the SIMULINK.The experiment approves the optical combination of phase angle can star motor with high strating torque and smal starting current.
