Abstract: the system of kinship terms is an important topic in linguistics and cultural anthro-pology research.As an important part of culture,the system of kinship terms has its social,histori-cal,cultural background during its emergence and development.By comparison and analysis of the Lahu and the Nu kinship terms ,it is helpful to further understand of their structural features and cul-tural connotation.
