Abstract: The styles and the characteristics of gear grinding machine,the grinding wheel dresser of form gear grinding,the tooth circumferential precise indexing of gear grinding,the automatic tool preset and the on- machine detection system of gear grinding machine are introduced. The development trends of grinding machine is summarized. The key techniques of the gear grinding machine that need to be resolved urgently is pointed out.
