Abstract: This paper conducts statistics and analysis on unit tripping and typical abnormal events caused by thermal control in coal-fired power plant in Zhejiang province in 2013. Primary failures are divided into soft-ware and hardware faults of the system, incomplete logical configuration parameters, field equipment faults, improper thermal maintenance, etc. Starting with increasing reliability of thermal control automation system, this paper proposes suggestions from aspects of completing control system logic, improving field thermal e-quipment, enhancing management measures of thermal control automation system and so on, which can be references for thermal maintenance personnel in power plants.
