Abstract: Mirabegron,a novel,potent and selective β3-adrenoceptor agonist,can increase bladder capacity,decrease the frequency of rhythmic bladder contractions,and prolong micturition interval.It can safely and effectively control the overactive bladder symptom.Clinical studies have confirmed that mirabegron can remarkably reduce the mean number of incontinence and micturitions per 24 h,increase the mean volume voided per micturition,and effectively improve urgency and nocturia episodes.With good safety and tolerability,mirabegron has become a novel treatment option for patients with overactive bladder symptom,improving their quality of life.
