Abstract:
Larissa Behrendtˊs novel Home is studied from the perspective of post-colonial feminism. This paper ex-amines the double oppressions of racism and sexism imposed upon indigenous women in colonial Australia in the 20th cen-tury and discusses the significance of finding their own voice, reconstructing their identity and return their selfhood.
