Abstract: The development of remote sensing technique and geographic information system provide effective means to study the change of regional ecological environment.Taking ETM +images from 2004 to 2013 and GDEM elevation data of Wuxi city as data sources,using remote sensing and GIS as the tool to extract ecological factors information to assessment the land ecological environment.The results show that the land ecological envi-ronment is getting better and better in Wuxi City.
