Abstract: Objective:To explore the influence of comprehensive nursing intervention on the curative effect of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with pneumonia.Methods:100 cases with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with pneumonia were selected from January 2012 to January 2014.They were randomly divided into the nursing intervention group and the routine nursing group with 50 cases in each.The routine nursing group were given general nursing,and the nursing intervention group were given comprehensive nursing intervention.Results:Changes in blood glucose,the cure rate and the total efficiency of the comprehensive nursing group were better than those of the routine nursing group(P0.05).Electrolytes and acid-base equilibrium stability of the comprehensive nursing group was better than that of the routine nursing group(P0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive nursing intervention is more therapeutic effect on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
